Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to MY MOM and to all the inspiring moms out there!  I guess traditionally it is a day to be pampered and maybe even some breakfast in bed.  BUT we are not traditional around these parts.  I have to work today and that's OK because my little part time job makes a contribution to my household, and in turn allows me to stay home all week so I can be there for those Bambinos of ours.

I am soooo thankful to be a MOM.  If it wasn't for them, and the support I get from Hubby, then I would probably be in the 9-5 world still.  And don't get me wrong, to all you moms out there who work full time and still have the time to be creative and awesome I commend you.  But being home to take my daughter to and from school and listen to my son tell me his dream of us both owning a Batmobile one day is priceless.

Because of my time home I have ALSO been able to nurture something that was inside of me.  This blog has since been created because I want to communicate freely about the happenings in the Halleran household, show my creative side, and speak of the things that are important to us.

Where am I going with this, well not exactly sure at this time, and I have been assured recently that that is OK.  I just have to do the best I can!!  (Thanks MMS!)

I most definitely will be featuring some home decor stuff here around the house, feature some Military issues we want to raise awareness for, and share some love with family and friends, who I hope will share some love back.
And maybe I didn't get breakfast in bed but I did get this from Hubby..... a well thought out gift THAT I WON'T RETURN.  Ha!  But seriously Blogging for Bliss looks like it is going to be soooo inspirational.  And sorry for the poor quality pic but that is a Moleskine notebook!!!  I feel so avant-garde.

Thank you again Hubby for my presents and babies, I love you.

Happy Mother's Day to ME!

Kristina, you are truly a blessing to have in my life. I have to say though as much as this was a blessing to read and a lesson learned about the bit of a side that i dont know fully about you, I was more inspired by the phrase, 'And I dont have to return it!'

I am so excited for this new venture you're undertaking, Kristina. You have always been full of creative energy and to see that you've found a great outlet to share this with others is wonderful. I love that I will have another way to keep up with you through this blog. Happy Mother's Day to the best friend a girl could ask for! You go girl!!! XOXO
